Worst part: the wait time can take a while as the chefs can only cook for one table at a time. That's how the hibachi is. Deal with it. I drive 3 hours round trip for the food here. I love Kobe! It's my friend groups favorite place for fun dinners. They have a place to sit down for dinner, or the option to have the chef cook in front of you. For my daughter's 25th Birthday luncheon we had 9 people. Didn't have a long wait to be seated. Was great service. We sat around a flat grill. We got appetizers made our orders. Got our drinks all very quickly. The Chef was amazing with his skills on the grill and tricks he did was so entertaining and mesmerizing. The food was good delicious. Kobe stands out of the recent influx of hibachi restaurants in CoMo. It has a typical large modern Asian fusion food establishment decor and atmosphere, making it a fun place to go to in a group. Great bento box deals (really filling, which is rare on a Japanese outing). Their sushi rolls are actually mouth-watering (get things with the 'yummy sauce'). The restaurant owner is pretty active out front and the regular Cuban? chef behind the sushi bar is very chatty and friendly.

I always come to Kobe for lunch and dinner! When you first walk in, you have the choice to either eat on the hibachi side or the sushi side (you can get both menus on both sides). Either way the food and sushi are all delicious and reasonably priced given their large portions. I really enjoy the teriyaki chicken/samurai steak combination with fried rice!
